Challenge 19 Second Chance: Comparing Buffy and Veronica Mars

This is my first attempt at any kind of fancy picspam, so very sorry if it sucks :)
Done for a challenge at picspammy 

CHALLENGE 19 SECOND CHANCE: COMPARE & CONTRAST
Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Veronica Mars: A Comparison
Contains spoilers for Buffy, Veronica Mars, and even slightly for Angel.

Hello fellow watchers. Or, if you haven't watched one of these shows, proceed at your own risk.
This contains fairly minor spoilers, and possibly some flailing.
Come, join me in my journey as I discuss the similarities between characters of these two fine shows.

 
My first comparison is a fairly obvious one. Buffy and Veronica: blonde, badass, beautiful. Both smart, funny, adorable, and capable of making adults look like snivelling idiots. I have a feeling these two would either get along well, or be at eachother's throats all the time because they contain too much awesome for one room.
 
 
Next, the boy. One of, anyway. Spike and Logan are close to equivallents in the two shows. For one thing, each of them pairs up with one of the blondes mentioned before. They both mean well, but can be extremely stupid, and have habits of pissing off their girls and making it up to them later. They're both clever and funny and pretty much hot. They're both orphans, and I'll just skip right over the fact that Spike killed his parents, because that doesn't exactly apply to Logan.
 
 
The other boy. Angel and Duncan are similar in more than one way. They're kind of the established relationship, the "conventional" relationship (nevermind the whole Angel=vampire thing), and they're both essential to the beginnings of the shows. They're there, there, there...then they're gone. Ironically both disappear and end up having children with dead girls.

 
Willow Rosenberg and Mac. Both the girl best friends of the main characters, both smarty-pantses, both excellent with computers, and both pretty much adorable. Difference: only one's a lesbian.

 
Piz and Xander. Both guy-best-friends, both hilarious and adorable, both with a thing for the main character (whether or not that "thing" is fulfilled is slightly irrelevant). And they both have excellent dancing skills.

 
Here's where we run into a slight problem. Veronica has too many guy best friends. Which leads me to say that Wallace is ALSO Xander. Again with the funny and cute, though these two are also similar in the way they do so many favors for the main girl and are hardly appreciated.

 
Giles and Keith. Father figures, general statements of awesome. Nuff said.

 
Faith and Weevil. Something you might not think of, but they really are very similar. They both switch back and forth between good and evil, friend and foe, in jain and out of jail. They're badass, and they have tattoos.

 
These two are eerily similar. Look at that! Same eyes, nose, mouth, body. Possibly because they're the same actress. Which is mainly why I put this in here. Also, Kendall at the beginning of Veronica Mars and Cordy at the beginning of Buffy are kind of similar in personality.

 
To wrap things up we have another set of blondes. I included this mostly because I thought it was kind of hilarious and perfect, and that these two would get along so well *wink* should they be paired in the same show. Also assuming Harmony didn't eat Dick right away, which I couldn't exactly rule out.

There you have it, the list which my brain concocted whilst watching Veronica.
